Where I lived

When I lived in Haiti, I lived in the capital city Port au Prince. If you went to my city,here is what you would see. If you went to my city you will see everything, and you will love everything, a lot beautiful things, a lot tree, beautiful sun, a lot beautiful garden, and we have a beautiful beach, the beach is always warm in Haiti, it's not like America beach, because America is always cold even it's summer time it still cold.

Adults in my town or village worked at jobs such as morning to afternoon they don't have time a lot, because they work really hard to make money, the weather was good, it was a beautiful sun outside that day.

The thing I miss most about where I used to live is the beach because in my country the beach is the most important thing for people this where we're enjoy when it's to hot.

Food in Haiti

Some foods, that are commonly eaten in Haiti are rice and chicken, and spaghetti with ketchup, and a lot other foods, but some of  them are different than America foods, and they have different named.

Like Americans , Haitians sometimes eat different food, because Haitians has there on foods sometimes.

The food from Haiti that I miss is plantains with eggs, because i like this food so much because it taste really good, and it's delicious, and that's why I love it so much, and it was my favorite food everyday.

School in Haiti

My experience in school in Haiti. The last school I attended in Haiti is called Roger England, it had students from grade 1th to grade 12th. Compared to rmhs, my Haitien school was very big. A typical day in my old school.
8:00-school day begins.

Introducing Shen Yun!

What is Shen Yun?

Shen Yun is a group that performs traditional Chinese music and dance.  In English, Shen Yun means "a little different."  This group is called Shen Yun to show that Chinese culture is now different from how it was in the past.

When does it come to Boston?

It comes to Boston from January 23 to January 25.


Where will it be performed?

It will be performed at Boston Opera House.

Why is it interesting or important?

This kind of dance is interesting because every movement helps to tell the story. In Chinese dance,the eyes are very important,there is a Chinese saying,the eyes are the window to the soul.

This is important because Shen Yun shows people all over the world what traditional Chinese music and dance is like. It is important for Chinese people to remenber Chinese history.

Dance In My Life

I mostly studied ethnic or  folk dance,the dances from eight of the 56 states in china,and some modern dance.I am study dance eight years.

What are training sessions like?

We practiced two or three times a week for two or three hours,but when we were getting ready for a show,it was much more,sometimes all day.

Why do you like dance?
I thinks Chinese dance is very beautiful.
